WQ-P2103 is a high-performance pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) wax designed to deliver excellent high-temperature stability, outstanding scratch and mar resistance, and enhanced abrasion resistance. It is easily dispersed, with a concentrated particle size distribution, and is suitable for various solvent-based coatings and inks, as well as various powder coating systems.
WQ-P2103 effectively improves surface smoothness and slip by reducing the coefficient of friction, while maintaining good gloss and surface appearance. WQ-P2103 is well suited for coating and ink systems requiring superior wear resistance, surface performance and aesthetic stability.
| Characteristics | Target value |
|---|---|
| Appearance | White Micro Powder |
| Melting Point | 327℃ |
| Particle size | D50: <4.2µm D90: <8.0µm |
| Bulk Density | 0.45 g/ml |
| Whiteness | >95% |
| Specific surface area | 3 ㎡/g |
It can be used in coatings for systems such as acrylic resins, cellulose derivatives, polyurethane resins, and epoxy resins.
The generally recommended addition amount is 0.1-2% of the total paint formulation, and high-speed stirring and other dispersion processes are required.
